will reduce your deductible by 20% each year until your deductible is
50% less than your starting deductible. Assurant’s is based on “One
Decreasing Deductible” of a 10% deduction. You can receive this 10%
deduction on the first day of January and July. It could end up reducing
your deductible up to 50% or 70% over time. The one important thing to
note with Assurant’s plan is that you can only receive this discounted
rate if you have a policy “with 100% coinsurance”.
