Malaysia
fashion
has witnessed a sudden lift with regards to
beauty and apparel sense recently. Fashion
in Malaysiais considered as one of the finest and affordable.
The numerous tourists who visit Malaysia and Singapore prefer shopping in these
countries than back home. Both these destinations have become the ultimate
places to shop for the most fashionable apparels at dirt cheap prices. The main
reason of such low prices are because of the cheap labor and thus low
production and raw material cost of these clothes. Online shopping has clearly
given leverage to Malaysia’s fashion world. People enjoy the comfort of
their homes to shop and get the best deals on clothes from the local and
overseas markets.

Malaysia Fashion has
come a long way since the rise of online shopping and offers the best deals at
the most reasonable rates. Products range from electronic goods to beauty
products. Be it a newbie or a shopaholic, online shopping has touched the middle
as well as the higher class of the society.

India and other
countries including Malaysia and Singapore have welcomed the concept of online
shopping with open arms. Fashion in Malaysia and Singapore, has grown to be
immensely stylish and amazing. However, customers are still quite skeptical
about purchasing expensive goods online, due to many reasons. Some include security of credit/debit
card information of the customers, and also shipping related issues. However, Malaysia
fashion
has been on the rise mainly because people love exploring new products
and best suited fashion and in vogue trends daily.

Since the advent of online shopping, its value has ballooned
to RM 1.8 billion as per reports in 2010. This figure was also expected to
double over the next 5-6 years. The e-commerce market size is around RM 2-3
billion for this year.

The online shopping trend was mostly due to interest of
middle income group or higher. They account for about 70% of online shoppers.
Online shopping hotspots are majorly from the US, the UK and Hong Kong.

Looking at the statistics, Malaysia’s online
shopping
market indicates that the citizen love buying air tickets,
financial products and services, health and beauty products over the internet.
In fact the online shops are more local than overseas. They purchased airline
tickets from local websites of around RM 173 million as opposed to overseas
websites of about RM 72 million. Thus local buys are almost 2.5 times than
overseas ones.

Also financial products and services accounted for about RM
78 million and health and beauty products of about RM 29 million, but mostly
bought from local online stores.

Malaysia’s
online shopping
trend for buying clothes, shoes or
accessories is slightly higher on local web-markets as compared to overseas
websites. However, Malaysians spend twice the amount of money on books, movies,
music and games on overseas websites than on local online shops.

E-commerce
websites have become common these days. However, it is important to research
carefully and opt for the COD delivery mode (If available) before making your
purchase. Also check out the return policyFree Reprint Articles, in case you are not satisfied with
