IVF: It is a technique of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and also called as In-vitro fertilization. In this procedure, the egg (from woman’s ovary) and man’s sperm are fertilized in the lab and transferred in the woman’s uterus after formation of the embryo. IVF is also done with the donor egg and is recommended only in those cases where woman’s egg quality is not good. In this case, egg is attained from a female donor’s ovary and is fertilized with the sperm of woman’s husband. After formation of the embryo it is transferred in the woman’s uterus.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): A process of sperm transferring into woman’s uterus at the time of ovulation is known as intrauterine insemination. It increases the possibility of sperm getting fertilize with the egg.
