Given its list of features, the HTC Wildfire is a surprisingly slimline at just 12 mm.  It is also light weight at 118 g so is a comfortable phone to hold and a pleasure to use on the move.  This is sure to appeal to many users.

The TFT capacitive touchscreen incorporates an accelerometer sensor which automatically rotates the on screen imagery dependent upon the orientation of the phone.  This allows users to view the content in both portrait and landscape forms making it ideal for viewing video files and photos etc.  A proximity sensor is also included as is an optical trackpad and touch sensitive controls, giving the HTC Wildfire one of the most advanced touch screens of any Smartphone currently available.

Users can customise their HTC Wildfire is thanks to the ability to assign MP3 music files as ringtones.  Ringing, alongside vibration alerts users to incoming calls and messages.  A convenient speakerphone system is built in which offers the option to talk hands free as does the 3.5 mm audio Jack.

The HTC Wildfire offers the potential to store a huge number of files ranging from documents to video clips thanks to an integrated micro SD card slot.  This can accommodate a memory card of up to 32 GB, which is sure to cater to the needs of most users, as it is capable of storing an entire digital music collection.

Access to the Internet is provided courtesy of an HSDPA connection at speeds up to 7.2 mega bytes per second in areas covered by 3G.  Integrated Wi-Fi Technology offers a faster connection whenever it senses the signals provided by wireless Internet routers.  When this is the case, if users have the ability to surf the web at much faster speeds, similar to that of a broadband connection.

High quality video footage and still images can easily be taken thanks to a built in 5 mega pixel digital camera.  Operating at a high pixel resolution, users can put their photography skills to the test, resulting in high quality still images which can be taken with the minimum of effort thanks to a number of built in features ranging from Autofocus and smile detection to an LED flash so low lighting conditions are no problem.

The HTC Wildfire offers aesthetic appeal to style conscious users who also view their phone as a fashion statement thanks to the availability of a number of colour variants.  These include black, brown, white and red.  The handset offers high levels of everyday functionality.  This is thanks to a long list of are included features and applications, all of which are run by version 2.1 of the Android operating system.
