Human beings are ‘social animals’ less by choice and more by necessity. Yes! If we go back to the early days of our civilization, the evolution had brought us to a juncture where we had to concede to the fact that we were neither the fastest nor the strongest animal around and thus had to be smartest. And the smartest thing to do was to stay in groups and use that collective strength and intelligence to survive.

The strategy succeeded but also left us with a responsibility bordering on a burden. We had to learn to deal with the complexities of managing relationships. And with that came many acts to be performed ‘day to day’ – managing impressions, shaping perceptions, tracking conditions and making adjustments. This art of ‘diplomacy’ was required, yet there was a side-effect attached to it – the risk of getting turned into ‘manipulation’.

And that risk has today become a reality. Infidelity, betrayal, molestation, debauchery, frauds, scams, scandals… all are side-effects of that manipulating. In such a scenario, Social Intelligence has a pivotal role to play. We define Social intelligence as ‘Observing nonverbal behavior and understanding emotions for greater interpersonal effectiveness and self-management’. This skill can help you safeguard your emotional, mental or financial investment.

But how does it help? Well! We all know that words can be really manipulative, because they can be customized to suit one’s hidden motives. However, it is very difficult to manipulate one’s nonverbal cues like expressions, gestures and postures. They reveal the truth certainly. The reason is that while words are under one’s conscious control, the nonverbal cues are instinctive and involuntary. And thus even if someone tries to exercise the cortical control over them, there is always a seepage of real emotional state.

To spot and identify those hardwired involuntary emotional reactions, one needs to have knowledge of the configuration of facial expressions and how human body’s nervous system acts in various circumstances. With this detailed understanding and some focused directed practice, a person can learn to see what lies beneath. And that enhanced caliber to pay attention to someone and read emotions can save you from an attempted manipulation.

So whether it is concealed contempt, masked disgust, duping delight, controlled fear, onset of sadness, hidden anger, hint of nervousness, recovered reluctancePsychology Articles, toned-down disagreement or mellowed reconsideration; it is possible to see it and then apply your mental faculty to choose the most apt response on the basis of that valuable information received.

This social intelligence can increase effectiveness of all by equipping them with the set of eyes required to see through the deception.

How hr persons or recruiters can enhance their skills with social intelligence

Social intelligence can enrich the repertoire of HR persons by helping them decipher people’s real emotional-states through observing nonverbal cues. It’s a valuable tool for hiring, appraisal or even exit interviews

Social intelligence can enrich the repertoire of HR persons by helping them decipher people’s real emotional-states through observing nonverbal cues. It’s a valuable tool for hiring, appraisal or even exit interviews

While the domain of management counts 5 M’s of “Man, Machine, Money, Material and Methods” as main resources (with a 6th M ‘Mother-nature’ also starting to make its way into the list), the fact remains that ‘Man’ – while treating the word more as a gender neutral term – is not just ‘a resource’ but ‘the Source’.

True! Human resource is not just yet another cog in the wheel. People go way beyond just being a headcount or some roles. They form the basic building block of an organization, making it necessarily a social entity. And thus, the quality of people, rightness of their attitude and their fit with the culture are the most important aspects of organization building.

That is what makes job of an HR person or a recruiter extremely important. For it is the HR person that recruits, refines and retains ‘talent’. And for all these HR pursuits, Social Intelligence paves the way most effectively. We define Social intelligence as ‘Observing nonverbal behavior and understanding emotions for greater interpersonal effectiveness and self-management’. It is the skill that provides the most significant repertoire for an HR person.

Let’s see it this way! What is the cost of selecting a wrong person in your organization? Well! The list of all that can consequently go wrong is endless – Non-performance, decline in team-morale, misrepresentation in front of the client, chances of misconduct, breach in information-security and even corporate frauds.

But more importantly, what is the cost of rejecting a right person for your organization? Well! The list can still be pretty long – lapse in talent management, loss of a potential competitive-edge, mediocrity in performance or ‘cultural stagnant’ that could have been avoided by facilitation of the timely inflow of fresh intellect.

So you can see that it is all about that ‘moment of truth’ when an HR person is in front of a potential candidate – the interview. Well! While the recruitment tools like psychometric tests can add value, still they have serious limitations, because they can be manipulated with some street-smartness on candidate’s part. Same is the case with other tools like background check or reference check. Moreover, they assume a person to be static and fail to factor-in the changing of a person. Also they cannot be used real-time, as a companion in the process.

Social intelligence overcomes these loopholes to a great extent. An HR person trained in this skill can understand candidates’ unadulterated emotional-states, complexes or insecurities by observing and correctly interpreting their expressions, gestures and postures. While words can be manipulative, these ‘nonverbal cues’ with their origins in deeper and evolutionary older parts of the brainFeature Articles, represent a person’s real-self to the fullest.

The underbelly of being nice

If nice is “the right way” or “good,” does it mean I am wrong or bad if I am not nice? If I have been trained to be nice, where are my real feelings going to go?

If nice is “the right way” or “good,” does it mean I am wrong or bad if I am not nice? If I have been trained to be nice, where are my real feelings going to go?

Why do people fight so hard to be sweet, nice, and accommodating, rather than honest, genuine, and authentic? It is a great question. Cultures are set up and rewards are given if you follow the rules: always say yes, agree to everything, be nice, don’t rock the boat, and tell people things you think will make them feel good and like you. What can possibly go wrong?

Let’s take a look at the cost…

If I am focused on “being nice” which, according to the dictionary means, among other things pleasant and agreeable; I am focused on you and what you want, not me and my thoughts. “Be a nice girl/boy” is what so many of us were taught.

So what happens if I disagree with something, or I am having a “not nice” day? What if I am upset? If nice is “the right way” or “good,” does it mean I am wrong or bad if I am not nice? If I don’t like someone and I have been trained to be nice, where are my real feelings going to go – if I can even access them?

Odds are, I am going to be sweet to the person’s face and speak poorly about them behind their back. Sound familiar? One of the foundations of passive-aggressive behavior has just been taught to me. Now I am not recommending that we need to tell everyone how we feel about them, but we can stop being little cheerleaders around them when we don’t believe their actions should be encouraged.

An aunt of mine would use the comment “how unique” with an interesting tone when she disapproved of something. We all knew what it meant. Some version of that or silence is better than telling someone everything they say or recommend is great…when we don’t think it is great. We need to stop the automatic agreeing and think about how we really feel.

If we take this one step further, I will also tell you things I don’t mean. Evidenced by one woman’s complaint to me about certain sections of our country where people at a party would say “Let’s get together” and never mean it, so nothing happened. The area of the country where she was from, if people didn’t want to get together in the futureFree Articles, they said nothing.

How do I know if I am acting codependent or loving? This is an excellent question and often confusing for many for different reasons. Let’s look at the definitions of codependent and loving and see what we find.

Love: An intense feeling of deep affection. For the purpose of this article, we will include some distinctions of love:

Codependency: Codependency for the purpose of this discussion is a recognizable system of learned personality traits that negatively affect knowing one’s self and others.

Codependents become dependent on “others” approval and control the situation in order to get this approval. Codependents often avoid honesty and confrontation, which can enable abusive behavior. Thus, the codependent does not require the abusive person to change or improve.

When we compare love and codependency, I believe we will find actions from love are different than codependent – actions which are based in fear. In general, it takes an emotionally strong person to live in love – not codependency.

As we said in our definitions: Codependents are driven by wanting other’s approval, so the fear of not having that approval is driving the behavior. People operating out of love are not driven by fear. Codependents may be blind to their codependency…and their fear. This way of being is just how they unconsciously decided they needed to act in order to survive.

When we compare love and codependency, I believe we will find actions from love are different than codependent – actions which are based in fear. In general, it takes an emotionally strong person to live in love – not codependency.-ANNE BROWN

The cosmic all pervasive nature of solar meditation and its worldwide popularity

The Vedas ordain us to perform solar meditation so as to attain Ojas, Tejas, Brahmavarchas (Divine Aura). In Yajurveda (chapter 13, Mantra 43) it has been said that one must worship sun or Savita since it is the witness of all good-bad actions performed by every human being. None of our activities and behavior remains hidden from the sun.

The in vogue nature of solar contact for increasing good health, increasing bodily and mental strength and therapy for Prana Energy intensification and soul uplifting is as ancient as human birth. In virtually all religions of the world at some time or the other a widespread popularity of solar meditation and worship has been noted. The chief reason for this is that the sun joins our daily living in a very intense manner.

As per scriptural utterances right from the direction, management and control of activities and functions of creation of life on earth to development and post death be it in a direct or subtle manner, is going on thus because of the sun. The sun is said to be the fount of manifestation of the 5 elements that create the body. The most potent amongst the 5 material elements is air  which if gets tainted or distorted results in weakness and various diseases. Lest if by controlling it optimally in order to render it terrifically powerful not only can we live a very long healthy life but that right from attaining Ridhi-Sidhis (Divine Powers) to the opening of the gates of heaven is possible.

SOLAR MEDITATION AND WORSHIP AS MENTIONED IN RISHI LITERATURE:

The Vedas ordain us to perform solar meditation in order to attain Ojas, Tejas, Brahmavarchas (Divine Aura). In Yajurveda (chapter 13, Mantra 43) it has been said that one must worship sun or Savita since it is the witness of all good/bad actions performed by every human being. None of our activities or behavior remains hidden from the sun. The visible and invisible rays of the sun after piercing all problems and walls, gathers news of every particle of the world. This is also a scientific fact. Man either directly or indirectly remains in contact with solar rays because the sun is the very eye of the world.

In both the material and spiritual realm all Rishi texts are full of the all pervasive nature of solar meditation/worship and benefits accruing because of it. In Skand Purana (Kashi Khand, 9/45-48) there is a description of attaining fruits of the 4 categories viz. righteousness, wealth, desires and salvation via solar worship. Solar worship helps us attain wealth, good food, long healthy life, son, animal wealth, all sense objects, heaven etc. In Rigveda there are many episodes of solar meditation wherein prayers are sung for liberation from sins, disease free life, long healthy life, attaining happiness, destruction of one’s enemies, warding off poverty etc. In Mantras of Rigveda (9/995/6 and 90/37/4) and Yajurveda (20/30) etc the sun is said to aid in overcoming bodily and other problems, warding off sins, overcoming dangerous situations, saving us from ill fame and bestowing development and prosperity.  In Yajurveda (5/33 and 8/40) it is said that Savita leads the devotee to the Devyaan Marg and render him/her divinely radiant and supreme in all ways.

In the chapters 29-30 of Brahmapurana looking upon the sun as the supremely great deity it is said that other demigods are the sun’s light manifestations and it is said that when one worshiping and meditating on the sun offers anything to sun god devotionally, the latter gives back the same to the solar devotee in manifold measure. Followers of the Solar Sect and devotees of Super Power Gayatri even today worship the sun in its 3 forms. At sunrise in the form of Brahman and its divine energy, at noon as Maheshwar and at sunset in the form if Vishnu it is worshiped. The sun oozes with incomparable imaginative power, inspirer of Sidhis (Divine Powers) inspirer of actions of all and one who bestows a great sharp intellect. In Yajurveda a wonderful description has been given regarding the sun’s beautiful radiant form. The Rishis by bringing it to the level of actual experience have described benefits that accrue from it. In Patanjali Yoga Darshan it is said that by focusing on the sun one gets wisdom of the entire cosmos. Even during ordinary programs of spiritual practices if one does Tratak (one pointed gazing with eyes open) on the sun or else by meditating on the golden rising sun the devotee attains the divine 3rd eye with the help of which if one sees anyone one can gauge that person’s material nature and all incidences that have taken place in his/her life. One can also thus attain knowledge of far off objects, incidences and subtle movements taking place in the womb of nature.

THE WORLDFAMOUS FRUITS/RESULTS ATTAINED DUE TO SOLAR MEDITATION:

By meditating/worshiping Savita deity (sun) one can fulfill one’s desires. A lot of proof regarding this can be found in scriptures of yore. In the history of solar meditation one finds mention of famous episodes like Lord Rama gaining victory over demon Ravan and Samba getting liberated from the leprosy disease. In the Mahabharat epic while mentioning siring of a son via solar worship it is described that mother Kunti who worshiped the sun very devotedly attained the fruit of bearing a son called Karna who was born with an armor and earrings on his body. King Ashwapati by meditating on the sun regularly sired a daughter called Sati Savitri. This daughter later married Satyavan who with her power of intense penance forced Yamaraja the lord of death to give back her husband live who had just died. The great poet seer Kalidas in his wonderful literary work ‘Raghuvansh’ has mentioned about Seeta doing Tratak on the sun when she was dwelling in exile in the forest. Over here it has been stated that Seeta sent a message to her husband Lord Rama that after giving birth to her children in the womb she would meditate on the sun so as to do austerities with one pointed devotion as a result of which she could again become the wife of Lord Rama in her subsequent birth.

SOLAR WORSHIP MENTIONED IN VARIOUS RELIGIONS:

JAIN RELIGION: Very much akin to Hinduism in Jainism am Buddhism ever since they came into being solar meditation has been in vogue. The proof of this is solar images found in caves of Bodh Gaya, Bhaja and Orissa. In Jain Agamas especially in ‘Surya Prajnapti’ there is mention of wisdom wealth to be attained with reference to the sun. Similarly in the Agama scripture called ‘Bhagwati’ many such incidences have been detailed from which it becomes clear that many applications of Muni’s spiritual life are related to the sun. They believe that due to proximity to the sun if one imbibes its energy augmentation of strength and radiance in the body, Ojas and Tejas (divine aura) is seen along with Prana Energy becoming very potent. In order to attain divine aura (Tejas) in Jain scriptures ordain devotees to do austerities facing the sun for 6 months and thus imbibe brilliant solar aura and energy. For warding off dire reactions of actions performed and augmenting one’s aura and halo one meditates on the sun or its brilliant rays.

IN GREEK PHILOSOPHY: According to the renowned thinker AB Keith solar meditation is believed to be very ancient in Greek Philosophy. The famous philosopher Galis too has emphasized on the above observation. The Greek philosopher Empodils says that it is the sun who is the creator of this world. He has described the sun as the root fount of fire. Even today in Greece during marriage functions the solar verses or Mantra are chanted. In Rome Sunday is believed to be very holy and it is believed that worship and meditation done on this day gives more beneficial results. According to the great philosopher Theodosian on Sunday one must abstain tasks of dance, musical instruments, music, theater, circus and other forms of entertainment along with gambling, court cases etc.

THE OPINION OF CHINESE PHILOSOPHERS:

The illustrious philosopher of China called Li Ki in his book ‘Ki Ao Teh Seng’ opines that the root basis of astrology and astronomy is the sun only. He calls the sun ‘son of heaven’ and by saying that it is the giver of day, knowledge and science has worshiped it.

IN ISLAM RELIGION:

Similarly in Islam by looking upon the sun as a center (‘ilm ahkam an najum) it is meditated upon and worshiped. As per data unearthed by great historians Emperor Akbar was a solar worshiper. Daily by facing the shining sun he would chant the 1000 names of the sun (Surya Sahasranam) and offer worship to it. He had given a command that in his kingdom daily in early morning hours, noon, sunset and at midnight (totally 4 times) the sun should be worshiped and meditated on. Greece’s Emperor Alexander too was a solar devotee.

IN CHRISTIANITY:

In Christian Religion solar worship has an important spot. Regarding it in Christian scriptures (New Testament) a detailed description regarding this is found. Since Sunday belongs to the sun the latter is given a lot of importance by Christians for worship practices. Saint Paul opines that this day rendered holy by the sun it is expected that a lot of charity be given. Christians believe this is a very sacred day to worship Lord Jesus Christ.

OPINION OF GREAT SAINTS:

ADI GURU SHANKARACHARYA:

While describing the deep import of the sun in Sandhyabhashya it is said that worship of the sun that creates all animate inanimate beings of the world destroys all our sins. It leads our intellect towards the path of divine greatness and truth. The sun is called Savita since it gives zest gives mobility to the world awakens farsighted discrimination and sacred inspiration. In the Super Mantra Gayatri one is exhorted to daily worship that unseen energy principle embedded in the Mantra.

SWAMI RAMTIRTH:

He used to call the sun as the greatest Sanyasi. According to him the sun is the one that illumines everything, giver of sacred inspiration and one bestowing life force. It carries out the task of giving light of wisdom to all and thus this light is the greatest teacher/Guru of the world. By seeking its shelter man can ward off dark spiritual ignorance and 3 fold sorrow. By taking recourse to divine wisdom and farsighted discrimination man can walk on the path of spiritual glory and can also become the lord of material grandeur or Ridhis and spiritual wealth. Meditation and concentration on Savita deity or sun which is the infinite storehouse of knowledge and science is very helpful in worship and other rites.

The true nature of spirituality and inner transformation

I have rendered my  actions such that after rendering my personal sustenance means minimal whatever capability I possessed was used only for contemporary world requirements and welfare tasks. Ceaseless self contentment was accrued and as a result the physical, mental, financial, family etc life created situations of joy and laughter. Apart from this on the basis of integrity and talent I attained public honor and cooperation.

At a gross level the body can be categorized thus:

1)      Hands

2)      Legs

3)      Trunk

4)      Head

If we wish to dive deeper each of the above can be further sub classified. The trunk of our body includes our heart, lungs, stomach etc and these organs also possess sub parts.

In the same way my life too can be categorized thus:

It is only the soul that can rule our body. It is its authority that helps run our life. If our director is in an apt state and on an optimal path only then can we live a life of all round progress and joy. The material world is managed by material science and the conscious realm is directed by spiritual science. It is our ill fate that the aspect of production of objects via material science is in our grasp but its apt good usage totally eludes us all. Spiritual science in a certain sense has totally been ignored. None knows how to avail its benefits and use the latter properly. People harbor imagination akin to cheap miracle mongers and pickpockets. As per their whims and fancies people carry out cheap and lopsided applications. Hence what can one expect from all this? Only anger and despair rule in the spiritual arena. Mobs no doubt increase everyday but side by side hollowness emerges more and more.

Under such situations it was felt required that ordinary people be taught the importance, true nature and beneficial results of spiritual science since it can help all attain both material and spiritual prosperity. For this, instead of just quoting scriptural seers, great teachings, mythology tales etc it was thought best that research is done in spiritual science and its experiences be placed in front of all. In this manner the bare reality can be understood and those who experience its need and great utility value shall bravely make due efforts to attain them.

In my daily routine those aspects are worth noting that showcase important success. In it one description is of those incidences that can be termed extraordinarily successful. When a lot of apt means are available so many huge tasks have been executed in this world in the past and are seen even today. But amazing is that when a person without much means and in a lone manner takes up tasks that require untold valor and actually reaps success. How was all this possible? This is described by people as ‘Sadhana se sidhi’ or success via spiritual austerities. At its roots apart from intense will power and an honest inner personality no other visible cause can be found. People can definitely also call it God or some deity’s boon. This was experienced not just by me. If you make a note of all great people and saints the world over their lives have been filled with such miraculous feats. At the preliminary stage they were ordinary like any lay person. But finally they became capable of carrying out such tasks that they can only be called extraordinary. How did all this fit in so well? How was such good fate accessed? How did situations become more conducive? The answer to these questions is different from the standpoint of incidences that occurred, but if its gist is taken note of its foundation flow has been one type only.

I have rendered my mode of actions such that after rendering my personal sustenance means minimal whatever capability I possessed was used only for contemporary world requirements and welfare tasks. In this manner a 3 fold benefit was attained. Ceaseless self contentment was accrued and as a result the physical, mental, financial, family etc life created situations of joy and laughter. Apart from this on the basis of integrity and talent I attained public honor and cooperation. Anyone attaining both these means their work potential shall increase manifold in comparison to lay folks. People get shattered and broken minded only when their life reeks with inner restlessness that gives rise to external opposition, enmity and duels. For success apt and capable enterprise/feats by attacking the rocks of inner and outer hardships renders them pounded to pulp. If such tasks are taken up that reek with selfishness, sense titillation, hoarding and a mad rush to amass wealth at any cost, situations force us to enter the dangerous world of stiff competition. Man immersed in various wily schemes and a dire competitive atmosphere attains minuscule success with so much difficulty.

Apart from this the 3rd aspect is that of divine help. For great good tasks it has ceaselessly poured down else anyone working in the midst of non cooperation and lack of all sorts even if one tries imbibing ideals not much success is reaped. In the subtle core of this world management destiny’s divine law is subtly active. For fulfilling great glorious goals an unknown help is always at work. It creates such obstacles on the path of vile and wily people that despite them possessing a lot of power cannot reach that peak of success as desired by them. Behind the defeat of powerful demons it is this divine law and activity that is at work. Behind the mind boggling success of pious great people too is at work this unknown divine power. It is termed Almighty God. It is called one who helps true devotees and a power that overpowers demonic elements the world over.

In the ‘Sadhana se sidhi’ section those small time incidents have been mentioned that have taken place in my life. Despite lacking skills and means, if these tasks got fulfilled in lesser time than is normally required showcases that over here the root principles of spirituality have been imbibed and practiced in all day to day transactions. In it there is no eulogy of any particular person but instead those root principles of spirituality have been detailed that anyone imbibing them deeply both mentally and in the outer world can march ahead swiftly in the realm of sacred idealism. Thus he can attain stupendous success in life.

In the previous pages another chapter is worth noting. It is regarding attaining a direction for one’s aspiration and deep interest. Each person is a master of his mind. He can think about anything and do anything but if we take a hard look this actually is not seen. People ape current trends in society, they flow with the wind and swim in accordance with waves. They carry out actions that are executed by majority of other people. These days the trend is blowing in a bad manner. Each one wants to rush forward for becoming rich and pursue sense titillation pleasures. They desire to hoard wealth etc by hook or by crook and whatever they can amass for showcasing their bloated ego they do so insanely. In a nutshell this is today’s trend and tradition. The question is not as to who needs what for sustenance? The question instead is very different from this. In order to be called ‘big’ in society, how much does one amass more and become more vagabond like in comparison to others? In order to ‘boss’ over others how much should one pursue wasteful expenditure so as to parade their vain pomp and superficial glittering lifestyle. People discuss ideals only akin to reading novels and hearing speeches but when it comes to putting these ideals, ethics etc in day to day living they label it not feasible and impractical. When an opportunity comes their way they are not averse to take up unwholesome addictions (alcohol, narcotic drugs etc) and execute unethical tainted activities. When they find a way to get protected from its dire reactions they call it ‘shrewdness’ on their path. The more someone parades his wealth, physical beauty etc the more he is ‘looked up’ to. Vile traditions too are included in this. None of them are averse to following social tainted acts like unwholesome addictions (alcohol, narcotic drugs etc), marriage ceremonies that cost a bomb, women forced to veil their faces (Purdah System), physically staying away from ‘backward caste’ people, becoming so called ascetics for getting free food/clothes etc. Of course! In the form of lip service they shall ‘oppose’ all the above but when it comes to day to day transactions none of the above vile activities are given up.

In a gist we can say that the above is the world trend and a majority of people follow it visibly or on the sly. The 2nd great effect of my imbibing spiritual philosophy both inwardly and outwardly was that I created distrust towards each and every such trendy beliefs and I vowed that I would now start thinking deeply in a newly refreshing manner. Each trend whether new or old would be tested via proof, logic, aptness etc and only those shall be imbibed by me that can actually raise human glory to peaks of supreme greatness.

Our Viveka or farsighted discrimination helps us imbibe spiritual science with a true sincere psyche. Hence scriptural seers call it ‘Prajna’. It is this that is prayerfully eulogized by terming it Vedmata, Devmata, Vishwamata etc.

It is in darkness spread all around me that I had to light my flame. With my axe I had to chop off bushy plants so as to make a road. I walked on it all alone. Not one of my companions was brave enough to be prepared to accompany me. Whomsoever I asked: You must not accept any blind trend and must instead be brave enough to imbibe that which is true even if it means you have to remain alone on doing this. But none accepted what I advised. Instead they all tried to explain to me the dire result of walking against the trend. They said that even the mighty elephant swims in the direction taken by waves because it is in his ‘best’ interest and hence they told me how can you go against the trend of society? As an answer I gave them the example of a fish. It swims against the trend of the flow of water in a whizzing manner. If a fish can swim against the flow direction why can’t I walk against the trend? As an answer virtually all of them said: First become a fish and then only talk to us.

The sun is alone and darkness is so widespread. Sun is truth and darkness rules only when light is lacking. Hence darkness is unreal. Spirituality told me after I imbibed it much before I did worship rites said: There is no problem in living alone and walking alone on life’s path. We must refuse to sit on a golden chariot created from imbibing unethical acts. Instead the direction of truth must be taken up even if it means we get dragged ahead a bit painfully. It is this pillar that was taken recourse to by great Rishis of yore and that I must take up those tasks advised by them and execute them to the best of my ability. Gods are meant for worship and great Rishis of yore must be offered humble obeisance. Today not one amongst these is believed worth giving a spot in an enterprising manner in the realm of our sacred sentiments, aspiration, thinking and day to day lifestyle.

In ancient times many great Rishis existed. They in their contemporary times had imbibed that mode of action that was in tandem with situations prevalent then. They always labored honestly to remain immersed in spiritual austerities and egg on others to take up that era’s righteous duty. It is said that a Rishi aids in the soul meeting Almighty God. Today many cannot be called saints also because they only fulfill your selfish lowly desires. They do not surrender their entire being at the feet of Almighty God. Hence this Rishi class has virtually disappeared today but the ancient term Rishi is yet in our midst as a symbolic terminology. None has shown the valor of reaching their great inner heights of glory. Hence on my part at least from the standpoint of word meaning I have tried to maintain purity akin to great Rishis of yore.

Who is a Rishi and who isn’t? Discussing this here is an exercise in futility. What is great is that the Rishi tradition yet exists. Such type of sacred sentiments must gush forth and as per their inspiration man must make plans. Tasks must be designed in accordance and those vows taken must be seen thru’ to the last letter without dilly dallying even a wee bit.

If you see Rishi tradition manifesting in my life know that to the extent it dwells in me in that measure true spirituality has been imbibed by me internally and externally. There was a time in ancient eras when great Rishis had uplifted the world in the true sense of its term. At that time Satyuga or Golden Era’s environment had manifested on our planet earth. In this body of bones, blood etc man had imbibed divinity. This is true Rishi tradition and it must be reawakened. The true nature of spirituality and Rishi tradition must merge into each other inseparably.

If soil is fertile and apt seeds are sown in itBusiness Management Articles, in an apt environment it definitely blooms forth. If this harvest is not used and instead is sown again and again then in a certain time frame such a crop shall be seen growing in a lush green manner in a widespread area.

If spirituality has its foundation in authentic principles and if it is practiced with profound faith its transformation too shall be such. Such efforts made by a few individuals can change the entire world environment in a great glorious manner. In previous eras such a Satyuga or Golden Era environment was created on this very footing. Such an environment needs to be re created in today’s modern contemporary times. If great glorious people march forward in this direction they can usher in their own and innumerable others’ well being. The 2 fold benefit of talent and inspiration on the above basis can uplift the entire world to top heights of greatness.

My life’s tasks must be read not from the standpoint of various incidences but from that standpoint wherein due to divine grace pouring on it ceaselessly did the episode of ‘Sadhana se sidhi’ succeed or not. In the same way it is also worth noting that while exhibiting spirituality in my life that is apt for others to follow suit have my steps in life marched ahead or not for imbibing the great Rishi tradition of yore? To the extent one finds authenticity in this they must gauge that the true nature of spiritual science is this only. The more one includes sacred ideals while sanctifying the inner psyche and radiating one’s outer life he shall benefit via those Vibhootis (divine skills) that are conjoined to spiritual philosophy and mode of action.

Ajna chakra or subtle plexus

This 3rd eye definitely is very influential and potent. With its help not only the act of seeing things far away but that even the subtle and invisible can be seen and understood. Just as X-rays pass through gross objects and can make photographs of objects not visible to our gross eyes in the same way the ‘camera’ of Ajna Chakra can see the invisible realm of the world.

In photos of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati his 3rd mythological eye too is depicted. As per the legend Lord Shankar by opening this 3rd eye burnt God of Passion Kamadeva with the help of fire that emitted from the eyes. This is the center of divine vision. With its help we can carry out tasks akin to those executed by the television. Over here is attached the technology of seeing far off sights. Via its medium Sanjay of Mahabharat war fame saw all events that took place there and related them to King Dhritarashtra seated in his palace. The result of this divine vision was that Chitralekha could paint Pradyumna whom she had never met.

This 3rd eye indeed is very influential and potent. With its aid not only the act of seeing things far away but that even the subtle and invisible can be seen and understood. Just as X-rays pass through gross objects and can make photographs of objects not visible to our gross eyes in the same way the ‘camera’ of Ajna Chakra can see the invisible realm of the world. Via this medium not only can we see objects but that the psychic/mental state of living beings too can be gauged and understood. The matter does not end with just seeing and understanding things but that the potential of Ajna Chakra is much more widespread. It can influence and positively transform others too. This divine capacity within the realm of mesmerism and hypnotism through the medium of gross eyesight can be made use of.

This Ajna Chakra is nothing else but focusing/concentrating of enough vital-force between the eyebrows and via its ‘throwing’ attaining all kinds of information. Like modern science it is an experimental truth and not wild imagination at all.

THE SCIENCE OF THOUGHT TRANSFER/COMMUNICATION:

Thought in reality are electromagnetic vibrations riding on the vital force or Prana. Gayatri devotees many a time on their get such messages from other fellow devotees which appears as though this communication has taken place without electric wires being used. Gayatri Japa or chanting is nothing but the practice of focusing and gathering vital force. So much cosmic vital force can be gathered in our body by us that it can function as a transmitter. In the following chapters its methodology and spiritual practice shall be highlighted. In a gist we must realize that the intensity or weakness of thoughts is nothing but the presence of greater/lesser measure of vital force or Prana.

In the body with the help of electrical energy daily life’s various tasks and transactions are carried out. The bodily machine’s various parts (organs) function under the inspiration of this energy. If it can be produced in larger quantity its benefit can be transmitted to others too. Via donation of wealth, blood, bodily organs like eyes etc other humans in world society benefit. Very similar to this it is possible to ‘donate’ vital force to others. A portion of one’s life force can be transmitted to others and thus in a certain measure new life can be imbued in them. Via the science of mesmerism bodily and mental therapies are administered. Not only are its benefit no less than other medicine/herbs based cures but that sometimes it surpasses it too. Today proof of existence of bodily electrical energy can be got via ordinary technology/apparatus too. The body is a good large generator. In certain people this electricity flow is found to be excess than normal. Many can augment it with proper effort. Via electricity many varied tasks can be executed. With its use many machines function and thus we all benefit. Via bodily electricity some special directions of contact areas can be activated. By influencing certain people their thinking and character can be transformed. Not only this but that they accrue benefits pertaining to health, strength, knowledge, enterprise and other glories.

How do energies functioning in the subtle world influence gross matter and objects? These examples can be found in one’s daily living. As soon as heat/cold augments in the earth’s atmosphere our vessels become hot or cold respectively. In monsoons due to wetness in wind greenery augments. Radio and television are influenced by subtle flows in interstellar space and hence they function aptly. On the basis of this principle the energy waves of our will power can be flown in space. Thus individuals and objects situated nearby or far off regions can be influenced by these waves.

Like humans and other creatures via will power objects can be influenced. These objects can be removed, moved, lifted etc. Within them other types of movements and special quality can be manifested. In fact their very nature and characteristics can be transformed. With the help of fire and electricity the nature and shape of forms can be changed and this is possible to execute even with the help of ones will power/soul force. In many miracle based feats such situations with effort are manifested wherein will power induce extraordinary movements in inert objects or that their ordinary functioning is obstructed. Without such exhibition shows too such incidents are seen manifesting in ones normal daily living. Over here due to contact with a particular person or mental resolve called Sankalpa mind boggling changes are seen in the nature and functioning of material objects. Like electrical flow if will power or psychic energy is looked upon as an energy stream then activities carried out by them should not be looked upon as extraordinary but ordinary.

There is a clear difference between fire and heat. Fire is directly visible and gross in nature. Hence it can be seen by the eyes and can be moved, lighted and doused. Heat is subtle and widespread. Hence although it can be experienced yet it cannot be seen by us. We can neither catch heat nor push it. Of course although using an air conditioner we can cool our house yet heat of summer season cannot be totally transformed into coolness. Fire is gross hence it can be lit and extinguished too. Via mediums like electricity, steam, fuel etc energy manifests which is used by us in daily living (fan, computer, train, cars etc). Hence we easily identify it. Ordinary application of will power is seen in influencing one another yet if it is rendered advanced and aptly managed for some special aim it will be clear how potent it is. On its basis not only an individual but that matter and circumstances too can be influenced.

While giving various proofs Alexander Ralph in his book ‘The Power of Mind’ writes- Via intense meditation energy can willfully influence living and non living materials found outside the body via a focused human psyche. Ralph opines that it is a doubtless fact that via will power the gross world can be controlled and mastered.

Via known facts in the reaction that results in the creation of an electronic brain scientists have concluded that the unconscious mind akin to a powerful computer carries out various functions and just as on the basis of what is fed into the computer the latter functions so too the unconscious mind gets its ‘food’ from ones thoughts and resolves or Sankalpas. Thus this course of the unconscious mind is influenced by man’s desires or will. It is crystal clear that with effort a person can fully master/control the unconscious mind and then will carry out those tasks which appear astonishing just now.

A person himself/herself can advance/activate his/her electromagnetic strength area or the region of gravity. Although scientists have commenced accepting this fact yet they have failed to unfold its basis and methodology. Man is a walking electric power house. All his inner functions and activities are executed via electrical flow found in the muscle network. In ones external living via the organs of knowledge and action various functions are seen. The energy used in such functioning is actually human electrical power. Biochemical matter like blood merely functions as fuel in the production of human electrical energy.

The sergeant of Russian army named Nelya Mirvailova can via her will power move steady objects, can stop a moving car and can induce the car to move. These miraculous feats exhibited by her have undergone scientific tests and have been proved true.

Along with means of energy like electricity, steam and oil, thought power too is being included. In the very preliminary stages itself within spirituality, thoughts are accepted to be such potent principles that not only its fount can be influenced but that its region of contact too can be influenced. Not only this but that far off and unknown creatures and objects too can be influenced.

A telepathy researcher England’s A N Kiri for a long period of time did experiments to unfold what goes on in a closed room. In this experiment a lady proved to be more imbued with divine vision.

In order to prove his experiments right Kiri he requested many people of truthful nature. Amongst those who researched were Dublin University’s Prof Sir William Barett and the great intellectual Prof SidgwigFree Articles, chief of Society for Psychical Research. They experimented on the above research studies from many angles and accepted the data that unfolded from it as correct. A description of the details of these research experiments have been published in Association of Thought Communication.

Both theists and atheists attain equal success influencing the intellect of people living in far off lands and transforming them. In this research endeavor even Russian scientists are following in the footsteps of Yoga aspirants. An anatomist of Leningrad University Prof Leonid Vasliyev did an experiment of telepathy potential on a group of people immersed in research. Via his experiments he could induce these people to slowly stop research on the current arena and instead they commenced research on another topic. Everyone was astounded to see him succeed in this experiment. Leonid after noting down his opinion and conclusion in secret files told his friends that in a short while he will after creating distraction in the psyche of a particular group of researchers he will induce them to take up research studies on a new topic. In reality this is exactly what happened and these group of researchers who had completed a major portion of studies on a particular topic gave it up and started experiments on a new subject.

Even if we ignore history and mythology yet on the basis of proof/data given by modern researchers one can accept that by experimenting using Mantras that are an admixture of thought and sound waves one can succeed in transforming the atmosphere/environment.

Just like African people even in Malaya exhibitions are given regarding experiments on Mantra Science and miraculous feats time and again. Mantra seers over here are known to influence seasonal changes too.

In day to day living too important usage of thought energy is noticed. On its very basis many activities are executed and accordingly results accrue. The external personality is but the result or reflection of man’s inner personality. Due to our thinking people nearby us are either our friends or foes. The roots of the basis of censure and praise are seen in the recesses of man’s inner personality. Even ordinary level of thought energy designs our way of living hence if a special level of thought power which manifests due to the scientific practice of Yoga gives miraculous results it should not be looked upon as irrational. In Mantra Energy applications where on the one hand we see vanity yet there is no dearth of well proven incidences on the basis of which we may not understand its extraordinary form yet we cannot say we have no faith in their existence.

Many times it is seen that certain people possess the power of influencing material objects via thought energy without any effort. Despite not undergoing Yoga practices they can see the invisible world and unearth the unknown. This extraordinary potential exists in the unconscious psyche of each and every human being the world over. Human electricity from the ordinary standpoint generally is used up in daily mundane living but only if it is augmented such gigantic feats can be executed. Via spiritual practices divine potential augments in a manifold way and with its help such extraordinary mind boggling tasks can be carried out. These spiritual attainments are carried over in ones subsequent births and incarnations too. Such people even without spiritual practice simply based on achievement of spiritual wealth in their previous lifetimes demonstrate miraculous feats.

The concept of time with hypnosis induction

The concept of time is experienced universally but in myriad ways. Learn how Hypnosis and NLP works in relation to time.

The concept of time is experienced universally but in myriad ways. Learn how Hypnosis and NLP works in relation to time.

The concept of time is experienced universally but in myriad ways. It is used as a standard component in hypnotic inductions, and time distortion is a key ratier of trance. Techniques such as age regression and age progression rely on time. Countless inductions could be developed based on this dominant, pervasive aspect of everyday life.

We have found embedded meaning inductions, such as the Time induction, very effective with both resistant and non-resistant clients. Non-resistant clients, who will likely go into trance without regard to the induction employed, seem to appreciate opportunities to stimulate their imaginations. Many resistant clients are disarmed by these inductions’ casual, innocent non-direction. In other words, they are not presented with anything to consciously resist, and so often incorporate the metaphor, or meta—message, effortlessly.

Age Regression Hypnosis

Age regression is used for deepening, but it is prudent to first ask clients if they are comfortable with such techniques. For example, “In the deepening portion of trancework today I’m going to ask you to drift back in time to some point where you felt pleasantly relaxed. Is that okay?” If the answer is no, clients may be alerting us to a trauma or some other unpleasant experience in their background that they prefer not to revisit. If this is the case, another deepening may be substituted.

Dealing with Clients

Clients are asked to settle in, take two deep refreshing breaths, and either let their eyes gently close or simply fix their gaze on anything in the room.

Time, as we know it, is something that we often think about, and clock time can be a very interesting phenomenon, something that people often imagine … or wonder about.

Now, (client’s name), time on a clock, in trance, might seem to slow down for some people, and for others it speeds up, but for many they simply don’t notice, or don’t care, or are oblivious to it, perhaps just losing track of time altogether.

One time a man imagined how a minute can seem like an hour, or an hour like a minute. Of course, clock time and time in trance are not unlike an entrance into another state, and none of this probably matters at all anyway, mere temporal experiences that they are.

Flying on a long trip, a person goes through time zones. On any long trip people don’t have to do anything at all. They can just sit back and they don’t have to listen to anything or pay attention to anything, just enjoying the experience. I remember once, looking at a map, becoming absorbed in those time zones, and imagining going from one to another . . . but it may be that actually ying through them a person feels more detachment, like when you sit down anywhere for a long time and your foot, or your arm, can just fall asleep, which is different from looking at any one thing for a long time, like a world map, and all those time zones, part of you becomes absorbed in the map and part of you just observes or enjoys the experience.

Conclusion

Richard Feynman, the famous physicist, could look at a clock and then have a conversation or read a book, or do something else, for ten or fteen minutes or more, and at any point he could just stop and without looking at his watch he could tell you the exact time, nearly down to the second. Now I don’t know if that has anything or not to do with dual experience in trance, where part of the person is in trance and part of the person just observes the process, but it can’t not have to do with the hidden observer’s intuition or imagination, or the mind’s special ability to wonder, or wander, and maybe at the same time. One psychologist here, Bob, said he told his brother back in Iowa that he couldn’t walk and chew gum at the same time. I don’t know about that, but I could never concentrate on two things at once, so I just quit trying, which is inherently akin to the experience of one of our psychologists, Deborah InghaInch, who entered through that door many times, and casually remarked how this entire process may be a matter of letting go of control, or controlling letting go, but never both at the same time, and how all this could be interpreted as being in the drivers seat, which we all know is very, very comfortable . . . and perhaps incontrovertible evidence that letting go is a pleasant experiencePsychology Articles, which has nothing at all to do with being in a convertible.

Under all circumstanes despair must be uprooted

We must understand that the disease of despair is not to be taken lightly because wherever it appears it can turn even a powerful person hollow. Despair is generally conjoined to a sense of defeat and anger and tiredness takes over. A man under such terrible burden not only himself breaks down but shatters others also. Thus our energy dissipates, the life force gets depleted and since tension increases uneasiness overwhelms us.

On imbibing tainted actions not only do obstacles appear in visible plans but it also seems that since on a regular footing nature’s laws are ignored the subtle aspect of nature too gets polluted. Harassments like earthquakes, storms, flooding, incessant rain, no rain, fights, agitations, crime, deadly diseases, epidemics etc are speedily manifesting in such a way that we fail to understand how they can be controlled and warded off. A harassed person deluded as to what role he needs to play becomes more and more despairing especially when in the name of progress and development efforts made in various arenas appear hollow and superficial. Thus one loses faith in the possibility of important world reforms setting in.

Very rare are those people who imbued with daring and enterprise in the midst of dark gloomy storms lights the flame of hope. Despite not getting cooperation from friends while executing creative tasks they in a lone manner labor intensely for reforms the world over. They straighten that which is lopsided and in such difficult tasks they remain firmly steadfast. They do not allow slackness or laxness to enter their hard work hence they are called great saints and messengers of God. But such great seers appear only rarely in this world. Their number is so less that the amount of contribution that could have been got from these prolific personages in order to ward off world despair is not got. Today the psyche of laymen is rendered akin to quick sand. What should have actually happened is that in order to replace wrongdoing with aptness valiant efforts should have awakened but since everyone’s psyche reeks with taints high stature zest for great tasks just does not spring forth. Today great seers like Christ, Buddha, Gandhi, Lenin etc that were known straighten that which is upside down too is not manifesting in our midst.

Under such circumstances it is quite nature that the human psyche undergoes helplessness. Over here we must understand that the disease of despair is not to be taken lightly because wherever it appears it can turn even a powerful person hollow. Despair is generally conjoined to a sense of defeat and anger and tiredness takes over. A man under such terrible burden not only himself breaks down but shatters others too. Thus our energy dissipates, the life force gets depleted and since tension increases uneasiness overwhelms us. Thus no creative solution appear in our brain with the help of which the boat of life in danger can be rowed to safe shores. A man in despair who negates the possibility of victory loses everything even when victory could have entered his grasp. Despair never allows a fallen person to rise up and disallows him to make endeavors for advancement.

Hence on realizing that despair should never be ignored in every walk of life efforts must be made to uproot it. In this rests welfare of all. It is only when zest and valor remain alive and kicking that we can move the cart of schemes of all round progress. Keeping in mind the possibility of a bright world future wherever there is the shadow of hopelessness no stone must be left unturned to destroy it from the very roots. And this is possibly only when foundations are set up that can imagine the hope of a radiant world future materializing in the future.

To a great extent it is true that based on contemporary times’ trends undesirable elements get attached to them yet the solution for this is that during times of facing obstacles powerful thinking must take over and for making intense efforts the thought process of world human psyche must be awakened. In order that we pay due attention to the probability of a bright world future ushering in and to render it potent, a mental background full of zest must be created. Regarding this in order to imbue faith in world public psyche a potent and widespread effort must be made the world over.

Time and again under similar circumstances very wise visionaries have actually made such efforts and they have successfully warded off despair looming large in people’s psyche via efforts akin to blowing the Panchjanya Conch of Mahabharat War fame. It is the prime task of great thinkers of every era to convert despair into bright hope, indolence into great effort and via new foundations inciting creative enterprise everywhere.

Many such examples can be found in the annals of world history. Ferocious demons were spell bound while facing defeat at the hands of bears, monkeys full of faith and zest who under the guidance of Lord Hanuman first built the Setubandh Bridge and then entered demon Ravan’s Lanka. It was only after imbuing faith that they could lift the Govardhan Mountain in the deep recesses of men that the cowherd boy-incarnate Lord Krishna executed an otherwise impossible feat. Even today we all are inspired by the story wherein once Krishna lifted this mountain with his little finger his cowherd friends too raised their sticks to support the mountain in mid air. It is looked upon as a historic trustworthy episode.

A young lady of France called Joan of Arc lit such a brilliant flame torch of freedom in the entire country that the public enamored by her radiant personality got up in full throttle and thus the heavy chains of bondage was broken. Lenin in his own way had imbued the Russian public psyche with Prana full of inspiration which convinced all that they will succeed in their endeavor. Other revolutions in world history too tasted success on this very basis.

Within Buddha’s Wheel of Religion’s turning contemporary public was taken to be the lone substratum of a bright future. Those who clearly realized this became Bhikshus/mendicants in large numbers so as to even give up their lives for this great mission if the need arose and not only in India/Asia but in the entire world they changed the prevalent trend for the better so as to taste success. Gandhi’s Satyagraha movement we can say happened ‘just yesterday’. In those days a definite environment manifested wherein slogans like ‘Freedom is our birth right and we shall have it’ were shouted aloud. On the basis of this faith innumerable patriots faced bullets on their powerful chests, entered jails and gave up their very lives for this stupendous call of freedom.

Arjun whose mind was dripping with a sense of defeat put forth many arguments so as to avoid fighting the Mahabharat War. After hearing many such lame arguments Lord Krishna proclaimed: I have already killed the Kauravas and they are as good as dead. Hence you must just become my medium/instrument and thus taste assured victory. Arjun harbored full faith in what Krishna said. Thus he shed all complexes from his psyche and got ready to fight that deadly war.

Founders of various religious sects attained capability of getting extraordinary help from their followers only after imbuing faith in their psyche regarding the precepts put forth by them. Visionaries of the path of spirituality via their sacred character and passing the fiery test of austerities attained such a state wherein followers in large numbers started harboring deep faith in their hallowed utterances.

Today in order to transform destruction into neo creation, in order that undesirable elements accept the control of aptness such a world psyche shall have to be generated that uproots fear, terror, inauspiciousness and destruction from itself and imbue faith that they have the power to help harbinger positive transformation. Along with this by giving up doubts of a bright future ushering in this world they must with deep faith imbibe the fact that unethical thinking/activities shall definitely be defeated by wholesomeness. The basis of harboring such faith that such an hour has arrived shall be unearthing sound logic, arguments in favor of it precepts, proof and a plethora of examples. Together if we conjoin God’s divine wish, Lord Mahakal’s inspiration and high stature beliefs that showcase this definite possibilityFree Reprint Articles, a good omen akin to fragrance added to 24 carat gold shall manifest.

Regarding this if it becomes a definite possibility that the 21st century shall be more radiant and joyous its result shall be that in the mind of world humans shall manifest a wish to uproot undesirable elements that are ruling planet earth and reinstate in their place happy blissful potentials. Its result definitely shall be that people shall give that which is unwholesome and shall fully accept that imbibing what is apt verily is true wisdom. Thus while taking up the role of being given due credit for such high stature sacred thinking they will themselves become role models for other world humans. Thus not only shall they get glorified but help innumerable others attain true glory too.
