Beware of myspace predators watch your profile and picture

Parents need to know the risks and be willing to find out all they can about the dangers. Parents also need to be the ones to set limits and enforce the rules of Internet use with their kids.

We hear all kinds of gloomy reports about MySpace and while many of them are true it looks as if MySpace is here to stay and if you have kids who spend time on the Internet it will be wise to face the issues of MySpace safety.  You can choose to ignore MySpace safety concerns but the realization is that it would be better to be armed with the necessary information.

It is true that predators of all kinds have figured out how to contact and meet kids through sites like MySpace.  It is also true that kids can be very naïve and think that they can handle these kinds of situations and have nothing to fear.

So the question remains; is there such a thing as MySpace safety?  The answer isFeature Articles, yes there is.  Parents need to know the risks and be willing to find out all they can about the dangers. Parents also need to be the ones to set limits and enforce the rules of Internet use with their kids.

While raising children it will always be far easier to be a friend to your sons or daughters but as always what the kids really need is a role model and enforcer.  Someone who cares enough about their children to figure out what is going on and someone who can and will follow through with consequences.

This is especially true if as a parent you want to reduce the dangers on MySpace and other sites of its kind.  Know all you can about MySpace safety and don’t be afraid to question your kids about suspicious behavior.  Make the consequences clear and don’t give in when it comes to MySpace safety rules.

How to choose baby strollers

One of the more important accessories for a parent is a baby stroller. With the many choices of strollers available in the stores today, it proves to be difficult to choose the right baby stroller for your baby…

It has to be basically safe and comfortable for you and the baby and easy to open, close, maneuver and store.

There are many types of baby strollers found today like the carriage stroller which is a great first stroller and the umbrella stroller which is easy to fold and thus convenient as a secondary stroller to be used for jaunts and trips. The standard stroller is usually the primary baby stroller that comes with many features like storage basket and bumper tray.

Lightweight strollers are also great for traveling purposes but are generally high priced than its typical counterparts. The car seat/stroller combo is a great baby stroller to be used for those using the car regularly. You can go jogging taking your baby with you in the jogging stroller while tandem and side-by-side strollers are best for those having children close in age, twins or triplets. In these types of strollers, the seats are fixed next to each other, on a large, single frame.

When choosing the right baby stroller, make sure that it is sturdyPsychology Articles, and is of quality construction. It should have all terrain wheels so that it can be used on all surfaces. There should be some safety features in the baby stroller and be comparatively easy to use by all parents. Make sure the stroller can fold and unfold easily and is rather maneuverable.

It is better to choose baby strollers that are easy to clean with removable and machine washable seat covers. Choose baby strollers that accommodate the baby as it grows and those that have storage baskets that are generously sized.

Who says your baby shower theme will just surround you and your guests? If you’re really going for a theme-based baby shower, we suggest that you do it all the way. And this means having a theme-based menu!

Finding the right recipe for a particular dish is no longer difficult. There are so many websites like Allrecipes.com and Recipezaar.com, which contains a lot of recipes, and each comes with a review by food fanatics like you. Because of this, finding the perfect recipes, are just a few clicks away.

Which leave you the dilemma of what dish to serve. And with lot of choices out there, we are not surprised that you cannot reach a decision among all those options.

This article will not tell you which specific meal to serve, since whatever we like does not necessarily mean you will like them as well. However, we will help you limit the choices, and at the same time, help you come up with your theme-based menu. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!

A little creativity goes a long way.

Let’s say you want to throw a Pooh baby shower. A Pooh shower is pretty popular, but you might be stumped on what to serve your guests. Here’s a little trick. In coming up with your shower menu for a theme-based shower, you could start with the favorite food of your theme character(s). If the main character is not a viable candidate, you could look to his/her friends. If everybody’s favorite food does not happen to be edible, then you might want to implement a different approach. Does the theme character remind you of a specific color? Taste? Does your character have hobbies that you could tie up to certain dishes? Because that could also help you determine what food to serve. Don’t worry, we will be providing specific examples.

Let’s go back to the Pooh shower that you are planning. Pooh absolutely loves honey, so you could approach this by serving sweet dishes or dishes wherein honey plays a big role. That should already limit your scope, and give you an idea which dishes to prioritize.

But you could go beyond Pooh. How about something related to Rabbit? Nope, we are not recommending you serving rabbit (unless you really want to). Rabbit is popular for his garden, and you could serve salads fresh from his garden, and make all your health-conscious guests happy.

Let’s take another example. What if you are absolutely crazy on throwing a frog baby shower? But, after thinking about it, you are faced with the dilemma of what to serve your guests?!

No worries, since that is still covered by the above formula. Green (frog color) and brown (color of mud) are two colors that we associate with frogs, and we want to start with that. Green means salads are in, especially leafy green vegetables. As long as green is really the major color, you could add other-colored vegetables, and your dish is still very froggy-like.

Pesto appetizers and pastas are also great candidates. And for your dessert, chocolate is absolutely in. But just in case you are not inclined to chocolate, then how about green tea cakes, to conclude your meal?

But you wouldn’t be limited to color-coded meals. Since many frogs live in ponds and lakes, and short of eating frogs (some countries consider frogs a delicacy, so you might want to try them), anything that lives in ponds and lakes that you consider edible, are also great candidates. That should give you a wider assortment of dishes.

And lastly, some say chicken wings, if chopped correctly, look like frog legs, so you might want to go back to your chicken and hack them accordingly.

By this time, you should already have an idea how to go about your shower menu. Once you learn the trick, you could choose even the most untypical theme, and come up with some amazing theme-based menu ideas. As we mentioned before, creativity is the key.

Just in case you have some problem coming up with your own theme-based menu, there are great baby shower resources out thereFeature Articles, and they’re just one google away.

Pond design digital masterpieces virtual water features part ii

If you are a contractor or pond builder, constructing ponds and waterfalls for a living, you must ask yourself, “Do I want to increase my income by 15 to 20 percent? If the answer is yes, then you need to start providing your clients with a digital pond design. Eight out of ten proposals/contracts come back signed with a deposit check enclosed. Not to mention an additional $350.00…

For example, each individual object that is dragged to the work space is surrounded by a “bounding” box with nodes on the sides and corners of the box. By clicking on a corner node and holding down the mouse, you can drag the corner to make the object larger or smaller. By clicking on the side node you can make the object in the box fatter or taller.

With this feature alone you can totally disguise any object, be it a rock or plant, by changing its dimensions. Just by dragging a rock to the work space, copying and pasting it several times, you can change the shape of each copy of the original object. Not only can you make the rock wider, taller, flatter, larger, or smaller, you can also warp the shape, change the color, shade it or tint it.

So with only a handful of rocks on the work space, you could create a veritable rock quarry! By dragging the nodes in a section of pond water, you can make the water fit any size pond by stretching or narrowing it. Need a couple more weirs in your waterfalls? A few more plants in the pond? A cat, a tree, a rock, bench, gazebo, bridge, stream? Just click and drag & paste, it’s that simple.

Right after seeing the virtual photograph of his back yard, a homeowner exclaimed, “Let’s do it.” Not, how much will it cost, just “Let’s do it.” Another client joked, “Wow, this is so beautiful, I think instead of you building the waterfall, I’ll just have this enlarged and pasted on our living room window!”Not only do I charge $350 per pond design photo, I recently increased my construction prices by 30 percent. And since implementing digital pond designs in my bids, my closing ratio on signed contracts has soared from 60% to 80%.

Eight out of ten proposals/contracts come back signed with a deposit check enclosed. Not to mention an additional $350.00 value added, for a digital pond design. Let’s face it: people like to see what they are getting before they hand over their hard earned money.

MAKING THE SALE If you are a contractor or pond builder, constructing ponds and waterfalls for a living, you must ask yourself, “Do I want to increase my income by 15 to 20 percent? If the answer is yes, then you need to start providing your clients with a digital pond design. When I meet with my client for the first time to survey their yard, I ask several important questions:

1. Where do you spend most of your time when you are inside the house? Ninety percent of the time the answer is, the living room.

2. Where do you spend most of your time when you are outside? That answer is usually the patio.

By establishing these facts up front, you can explain that the waterfall and pond location needs to be nearby the place where they spend the majority of their time. For example, outside the living room window or slider and near the patio. If their waterfall and pond are located in the back corner of their property, the only time they will enjoy it is if they make an effort to go out to where it is. Once these issues are settled you now know where to take the picture. It is best to do a pond design in the place where it will end up being built.

The next step is to explain that I take a digital picture of the area and create a virtual photo of the proposed waterfall and pond. In the event the client decides to proceed with the project, I deduct the $350 charge from their contract. If the cost is approached in this way, you will rarely receive a “no” when your prospective client is deciding what to do. In addition, I mention to the client that if they decide to get other bids, they will have the photo which will allow them to compare apples to apples when getting the other bids.

A virtual photo of a digital pond design is to a waterfall and pond builder as is a movie preview trailers is to the motion picture industry. While visiting the Macintosh dealer in San Diego, I was asked to observe the quality of the Power Mac’s processor. The Apple representative played a trailer from the movie “Winged Migration.” This clip was designed to play on the average Windows screen in a 3″ x 3″ window. He played it on the Power Mac’s 23″ screen at “full screen” size. The result of this single visual presentation was my verbal response: “I’ll take it,” not “How much?” ( This is not an endorsement of Apple products. I do not market Apple products, nor do I have investments in the company)Disclaimer: My sales success rate of more than 80 percent is not solely the result of using virtual photos. I have been designing and constructing waterfalls and ponds for over twenty six years, well over 1,900 projects. However, it is obvious that this innovation can greatly enhance the success of any business, no matter how young.

Recently I did a “cut and paste” job of an object that one of my clients recognized her cat in a digital virtual photo displayed on our website. This client called me and couldn’t figure out what her cat was doing at someone else’s pond staring down at the koi fish. She was completely dumbfounded, but like I was saying, you can cut and paste anything anywhere in the digital world.

WHEN CAN I START? Waterfalls and ponds are becoming a common addition to current landscape designs, with the projected future trends being even more promising. The digital age is upon us and we have the perfect product to utilize this technology.

So get ready to give your computer a tune-up and let’s get started!Happy KoiComputer Technology Articles, Peace & Joy.

Surviving the super bowl

Why should the football fans have all the fun? Here are three ideas that are simple to do and may just become an annual tradition for the other half. It can be a great day for everyone in the family.

Unless you love football as much as your partner, your best bet is to make a plan to not only get you through the day, but have a great time too. Why should the football fans have all the fun? Here are three ideas that are simple to do and may just become an annual tradition:

1. Switch Houses. When you’d rather be doing something else, staying at home with your partner while they watch the pre-game, game, and post-game highlights is a surefire way to start the embers of an argument. If the Super Bowl drives you nuts, it’s time to get out of the house.

Put the word out and offer to host a Super Bowl survival party for your friends. The switch part of the deal is one of your friends has to open their home to all of the fans. Those who love football can spend the day in one house, while you enjoy your own gathering with friends – and a clean house! (You may want to split the cost of a cleaning service for your friend that gets stuck with the Super Bowl mess!)

2. One For Him and One For You. If, on the other hand, you don’t mind the Super Bowl as much as you are bored by it, why not host two parties in your home this January? Set up one space to watch the game and another space for your own festivities.

This would be the perfect time to hire a caterer. While this may seem like a splurge, having a caterer (or at least an attendant or server) on hand, will save you from the constant requests for refills and snacks.

If a caterer is not in your budget, ask each of your guests to bring an item. Then set up a buffet for the football fans near the television. Make sure you have everything they could possible need: coolers with ice and beverages, extra bags of chips, snacks, napkins, cups, and utensils.

Choose an activity for your own party, so that you will be too busy to get involved in the other party. You might have a mini-spa day, a film fest, or your own game day of board games or card games you like to play.

3. Take a Mini Vacation. If you’ve felt the need for some down time, the Super Bowl is the perfect excuse to get away from it all. With your partner firmly ensconced in the family room, you can easily slip away for a day – or even for the entire weekend. If you plan it right, you might not even see one commercial, or a glimpse of a halftime show.

The timing of the Super Bowl, just a few weeks after the holidays and school vacations, makes it the perfect time to get a little much-needed pampering. Visit a spa resort or bed and breakfast that offers in-room massage. Many inns and resorts in cold weather climates offer winter discounts that make a weekend getaway affordable.

Shopping trips, theater trips, or a food and wine adventure are also great ideas that will restore your energy and take your mind off the game. Wherever you choose to go, make sure the trip is one that will relax and inspire you. Choose something you wouldn’t otherwise do for yourself.

This January, however you choose to “get through the day”, approach it with a new enthusiasm. With a little planningScience Articles, the Super Bowl can promise as much great fun for those who don’t like football as it does for diehard fans.

Henry Fong Feng Shui | Chinese Astrology www.absolutelyfengshui.com

It is not uncommon for a Chinese couple to seek the services of an astrologer to find a suitable Chinese baby name for their new born child. It is believe that a suitable Chinese baby name can improve the luck of the child and give the child a more auspicious life path. The methodologies for selecting a suitable Chinese baby vary between the different schools of thoughts but most of them are based on the principles of Yin and Yang as well as the Five Elements. Chinese characters are made up of strokes. The odd number strokes are Yang while the even number strokes are Yin. For example a character composed on two strokes is Yin while another character composed on 3 or 5 stokes are Yang. The total number of strokes used in the name matters. Depending on the school, a certain range of strokes are auspicious while certain other ranges are not. In most schools the date of time of the baby’s birth is also required to compute the Ba Zi or Eight Characters. From the eight characters, the astrologer can determine the useful element. This is usually but not necessary the element is that most lacking in the chart. Let say that the element that is most lacking in the chart is water. In this case the astrologer will find a name that is associated with water. Obvious names would include water or ocean. Less obvious is winter which is also associated with water. For someone lacking in the wood element, suitable names include wood, forest, spring (a season of wood) or a name of a plant. Another technique is to find a Chinese name that comes with the required element. Most Chinese characters are composed of basic characters. For example the character for the word ‘stove’ a made up of the character fire and earth. Therefore if you lack fire or earth you can call yourself stove! Not the best of example but I hope you understand the principle! These are by no means the only methods. Let me give you an example. In the old days, where infant mortality rate is quite highFree Web Content, parent resort to giving their child very lowly names like Cow or Pig hoping the evil spirits will miss them hence allowing them to live to a ripe old age! Now you now why someone not so good looking is called ‘Spring Beauty’ while an obvious beauty is called a ‘Pig’!

Cure your childs winter blues with penguin activities and celebrate the season

Give winter boredom the boot and learn about penguins with your children. Have fun with these penguin-inspired crafts and activities.

Give winter boredom the boot and learn about penguins with your children. Have fun with these penguin-inspired crafts and activities.

Brrr! Winter is the coldest season of the year. Water freezes to become ice, snow, sleet, or icicles, creating a sparkling wonderland. Many plants and animals become dormant or hibernate. People bundle up in hats, mittens, and boots. It’s a time for enjoying outdoor activities like ice skating, sledding, and building snowmen or indoor activities like drinking hot chocolate, make craft projects together, curling up with a book by a toasty fire, or going to see a good movie like “Happy Feet,” an uplifting story about a tap-dancing penguin named Mumble. Give winter boredom the boot and learn about penguins with kids crafts and activities.

Penguins range in size from the fairy penguin which only gets about 9 inches tall to the emperor penguin which can reach lengths of up to 3–4 feet. Although penguins are birds, they do not fly, at least not in the air. Penguins spend most of their time underwater looking for dinner (fish, squid, krill, and crustaceans). All penguins live below the equator, from the Galapagos Islands to Antarctica. That’s why you’ll never see a penguin and a polar bear together—except on the Coca Cola® commercials.

To learn more about penguins visit your local library to find penguin movies and books and try these penguin-inspired crafts and activities:

Potato-Stamp PenguinCut a large and a small potato in half lengthwise. Paint the large potato half black and then stamp it on blue craft paper. Paint wings on black body and let dry. When dry, paint small potato half white and then stamp it on the black penguin body. Cut a beak and feet out of orange craft paper and glue on penguin. Add wiggly eyes. Make an ice landscape with torn craft paper, tissue paper, or cotton balls.

Fingerprint Penguin

Stamp thumb into white paint and make one large “thumbprint” tummy on a piece of blue paper or cardstock. Next, stamp index finger into black paint and make fingerprint wings on either side of the tummy. Then, stamp tip of pinkie finger into the black paint and make a fingertip head on top of the penguin. Use a toothpick to make two white eye dots. Allow to dry. Finally, use the toothpick to add a beak and feet with orange paint.

Penguin Egg Walk

Explain that emperor penguins have to carry their eggs and babies on their feet. This is not an easy task. Have children take off their shoes and try to walk around with an egg on their feet. (Make an egg out of a white sock filled with rice or cut a big egg out of white paper.)

Here are some other great art activities to do with your children outdoors:

Make Penguin Snow SculpturesHave children create snow penguin sculptures and paint with snow paints. (Mix food coloring and water and fill small containers with the mixture.) Children will enjoy exploring the effects that the paint makes on the snow.

Don’t forget to fill those little tummies with a treat fitting for a penguin:

Penguin Snack

Krill (a Ritz cracker covered with cream cheese and topped with a tiny shrimp)

The days may be short and the world covered in white, but you don’t have to suffer from the winter blues! Visit www.KidsSoup.com for a blizzard of other fun winter and penguin crafts and activities.

Power of praise how to encourage positive behaviour in children and teens

Henrietta Joyce teaches you how to use descriptive praise to effecively. Raise self-confident, happy, obedient children by using this powerful technique.

What if I told you I’m going to show you how to use praise effectively? I hear some of you saying but I already use praise! Yes but read on and you will be pleased you did. First I’m going to explain why praise is one of the most effective tools in raising happy, well-balanced children. AND it’s FREE!

Next I’ll answer some questions I’m often asked by parents about praising children.

Finally I’ll demonstrate how descriptive praise will motivate your child.

Why is praising your child so important?Praising your child is important because:

It shifts your focus so you feel and view your child more positively You demonstrate you’ve noticed and appreciate his actions It makes him feel valued and builds up his self-esteem It reinforces good behaviour because it teaches him how we want him to behaveFour FAQ relating to praiseDoes praise spoil children? Children are not spoiled by praise nor do they only work for external rewards. On the contrary children who receive little or no praise become demanding or attention seeking.

Isn’t praise manipulative? The purpose of praise is to increase positive behaviour with the child’s knowledge. Everybody responds favourably to praise.

Shouldn’t I wait until his behaviour has improved before I give praise? To initiate a behaviour change a parent must first praise the smallest positive actions as this teaches a child how we want them to behave.

What should I do my child rejects praise? Some children have difficulty accepting praise because they view themselves negatively. However you can help improve their self-esteem by continuing to praise and eventually your child will enjoy being praised.

How to use descriptive praise effectivelySometimes parents praise their children in ineffective ways. Here are four ways you can maximize your effectiveness in praising your child. Be specific, praise appropriately, demonstrate enthusiasm and avoid mixing positive praise with negative comments. Lead by example model self praise for example, ‘I did a good job redecorating the bedroom’. Children love to hear you praising them to others.

Specific or descriptive praise ‘Good boy’ or ‘well done’ is non-specific and therefore ineffective because such phrases do not describe the behaviour you are praising. It is rather more effective to say, ‘Good boy for tidying the toys away when I asked’ or ‘I’m pleased you ate all your dinner’.

Appropriate praise It is important to praise your child’s behaviour when it occurs and when the behaviour is appropriate. For example you would not praise your child for writing their name if it was written on the tablecloth. However you would praise your child for actually sharing his toys with his friend. The knack is to catch them being good, praise immediately and ignore low-level inappropriate behaviour. Praising inappropriate behaviour is confusing and misleading.

Demonstrate enthusiasm If you sound bored or look glum when offering praise it will be ineffective. Praise is reinforcing to children when it is delivered with eye contact, a smile, energy, hugs and sincerity. However if you are unused to giving praise it may sound artificial at first but if you but persevere it will soon feel genuine and natural.

Avoid giving praise and negative comments simultaneously Some people fall into the trap of giving ‘backhanded praise. For example saying ‘Thank you for singing to the baby instead of hitting her as you usually do’. This has the effect of being contradictory or feels to the child like a put down. Don’t make a sarcastic or critical remark about old inappropriate behaviours as this negates the positive reinforcement. If you sound discouraging your child will stop trying.

To sum up….. Praise increases your child’s self-esteem and confidence It helps you view your child positively Catch him being good and Praise immediately and consistently Give positive praise Praise descriptively, appropriately and enthusiastically Give eye contact, hugs, pats, kisses and smiles with praise Model self-praiseHave you noticed that effective praise is a matter of showing your child how you want them to behave? By reinforcing their behaviour whenever they shareBusiness Management Articles, comply with requests or use their initiative you socialise your child. It’s quite simple isn’t it?

I love you and i need space

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed and want to hide from your loved ones? Are you finding yourself even starting arguments, having an accident, or becoming ill so that you can have some time alone? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a constructive way to have that need met?

For example, Dean and Kathy, who were in my office for marriage counseling, were complaining to me about their frequent yelling bouts. When I asked them the time of the day that most of their arguments occurred, they replied, “We have a fight practically every evening when Dean comes home from work.”

In their common scenario, Dean would arrive home around 6:30 pm., after what he described as a stressful day at the office and on the road in rush hour traffic. Kathy would greet him at the door, stressed from a full day of looking after their two active young children, and their dog and cat.

Fiasco is a good way to describe what happens when two stressful people meet with different pressing needs. Dean, exhausted and drained, desires time alone to decompress from the pressures of his day. Kathy was also burned out by that time of the day from the many demands from her family, and she wants Dean to help her with the children. She also desperately wants to speak to an adult, but is frustrated because Dean is not listening.

To help them resolve their problem, I suggested to Kathy that she take at least twenty minutes for herself before Dean comes home. Then she would be better able to be relaxed and undemanding at that crucial time.

Then I told Dean that it would be a good idea for him to briefly greet his family and then to spend at least twenty minutes alone to regain his composure. Dean loved the idea and decided to hide in the bedroom, to change his clothes and to stretch out on his bed while listening to soothing music.

Both Kathy and Dean were able to hear how each other felt during the twilight hours. With understanding and compassion, they were ready to solve their problem. By the end of the counseling session Kathy and Dean felt acknowledged and satisfied with the plan.

When the couple returned the following week they were very excited with the results. Kathy and Dean realized that they both mistakenly believed that the other person did not care about them. Now they accepted the truth that they deeply cared about each other and just needed some space.

The loving couple were experiencing smooth transitions during what was previously a “witching hour.” Dean was able to switch gears and be the loving father and husband he wanted to be. Kathy succeeded in shifting into becoming the patient, loving wife she truly was.

Dean and Kathy also followed my suggestion of putting a sign on the closed bedroom doorknob that said, “I Love You and I Need Space.” They agreed to display that clearly communicating sign whenever they felt the need to be alone in order to relax and re-group. The children also had their signs ready when they needed them.

At the next session, the couple reported fewer arguments, accidents, and illness. The family, including the dog and the cat, were much more harmonious.

No matter what age you are, it is a wonderful gift to yourself and others to explain what you need so that you can be supported. To make sure that they get the clear message, post your signFree Articles, “I Love You and I Need Space.”

Be your own valentine

This Valentine’s Day, why not take the time to appreciate someone who rarely gets your attention; someone who deserves a thoughtful gift and a few kind words? Someone like – you! Whether you are single or attached, Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to send yourself a gift of thanks and appreciation. This year, why not be your own valentine?

Valentine’s Day, while traditionally for sweethearts, is really just a day to show the ones you love how much you care. Friends and family routinely send Valentine’s Day cards; even moms get valentines from their own children.

In your list of things to do each day, where do you factor in? Most women focus on meeting the needs of others before taking care of themselves. Over time, depriving yourself of a much-needed break or indulgence can cause you to feel weary, even a little sad. Still, a special gift and some self-care can be just the pick-me-up you need.

Start thinking of Valentine’s Day as a time to celebrate you. Prepare to treat yourself in the same way you prepare to send a gift to your partner or special friend. Be as thoughtful for yourself as you would be for the important people in your life. Carefully planned gifts always stand out among the last minute trinkets and candies. Take the time to consider what you would love to receive.

Perhaps you have resisted buying a special piece of jewelry, or a beautiful dress. Maybe you would love to have a day at the spa, but have put it off due to time constraints. Even if you are on a budget, there are small indulgences that would make a perfect gift to you. A box of French milled soaps, a new pair of shoes, or perhaps a magazine subscription.

Being your own Valentine also means taking the time to celebrate. Take a two-hour lunch break from work and treat yourself to a meal at a nice restaurant. Snuggle up to watch your favorite movie with yummy snacks. Have a long soak in a bubble bath with a glass of champagne. Spend the day meandering through the cute antique shops you always meant to check out, but never got around to finding the time to explore.

However you decide to care for yourself this Valentine’s Day, remember in order to be your own valentine, you will need to send yourself a card. Write a thoughtful note to yourself, listing what you love about yourself, and why you know you are special. Put the card in the mail ahead of time, so that it arrives in before February 14th.

Make being your own valentine an annual tradition, a time when it’s okay to take time off to take care of you. It’s the perfect time of year to pay extra special attention to your own needs and desires, to have the kind of fun you like to haveComputer Technology Articles, and to notice your unique loveliness.
